Hatching A New Pandemic?

What is happening world-wide because of the #Covid19 pandemic reminded me of a university paper I wrote in 2007, in which I briefly discussed the 1918 Spanish influenza, which officials now suspect was a bird flu virus. In Canada, 50,000 people died from that flu. I argued that the hatching of a far worse bird flu pandemic is incubating in the needless suffering of factory-farm chickens being raised in squalid conditions that are ripe for a mutated form of H5N1 to gain the ability to spread with deadly intent among humans.
